EWCeWF FAQ

This page is here to answer all your questions about the world of the EWCeWF

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS

Q. So what is this wrasslin? stuff anyway?

A. That is the subject for a different FAQ; the best one of that nature that I know of is the RSPW FAQ at Rantsylvania.com. There is a link on our main page. I?d put one here, but I want more hits there.

Q. What is EWCeWF?

A. Eromitlab?s World Championship e-Wrestling Federation.

Q. But what is it?

A. The EWCeWF was founded in September of 1998 by Eromitlab, a powerful internet mogul. The federation consists of interactive wrestling ?stories? produced on a semi-regular basis, with wrestlers created by various people on the net.
For Example: Johnny Internetuser creates wrestlers Luke Warm. He uses certain specifications to give his guy strengths, weaknesses, a personality and such. Luke is then placed in a match against Wrestler B. Johnny writes an interview of his wrestler talking smack of B and so on. Based on smacktalk ability and the overall quality of the creation the wrestler wins or loses. Sometimes stories dictate that a wrestler loses a match even when he is the superior, but this is generally only the case in title match situations. Remember rule # 1 of professional wrestling: It doesn?t matter if you win or lose, but rather how you look doing it. If a wrestler dominates an entire match and gets DQed for shoving a ref, he loses, but he also looks more ?badass.?

Q. How does one win a title?

A. First, one needs to earn a title shot. This is either done by Champion?s decree, Commissioner?s decree, or special match to choose a #1 contender. Usually the number one contender is a wrestler who has shown continued improvement, excellence, or other good qualities in his ideas and actions. Then a match occurs. Unless a stipulation says otherwise, the EWCeWF title can only change hands if the challenger pins or submits the champion. A title does not change hands by count out, DQ, or referee?s discretion.

Q. What if I have an idea about what my wrestler should do?

A. This is an interactive thing, and your idea may be implemented. E-mail it to Mr. Eromitlab via [email protected] or the head booker [email protected]

RULES OF THE ROLE PLAY
By the PREZ

Rules for EWCeWF
#1) You MUST roleplay at least once before every show. I would really prefer to see you all role play more than once though. We have usually up to two weeks in between shows so let's get a little bit of back & forth smack talkin in that amount of time. Make my job that much more fun! Spice the feuds up a little bit!! If you fail to Role Play at least once in the time between shows, you will be squashed hard! I mean you will get your ass stomped into the ground. Now, I also understand that things happen that are larger than life. If you have some sort of an issue that prohibits you from RPing for a period of time, tell me about it & I will grant you time off & you will not get squashed!

#2) My goal is to make this seem as much like a televised federation as possible. Therefore, we must not use words like shit, fuck, cunt or anything else like that! I am more than sure that all of you watch the WWF. If you are using a word that you haven't heard on the WWF or have heard bleeped out, then don't use it!!! Oh & even if you put sh*t, this still counts as cursing! Now, if you are able to use it in a manner that advances an angle, then talk to me about it first & we will work it out but if you use it just because you can't think of anything better to say at a point in your interview, then don't bother.

#3) DO NOT use other people in your RPs without their written consent! Anyone that does this will be immediately shit canned! Nobody wants to see their wrestler get punked in some other persons interview! What this always leads to is the person that got thumped getting pissed & cutting another interview segment where the guy he got punked by gets punked even worse & the two spend their time, wasting ours, by trying to one up each other in that regard! That is not the one upping that i want to see! I want to see one upping with words! Let me decide the final actions. If you do want to use someone else, let me know & & I will give you their email addy!

#4) This is not something that I have had a problem with as of yet so I am not worried about it but please, do not come at me bitching & pissing about the direction of your charecter. I allow reasonable creative control for you guys. You have to understand that if you lose, it will play into a good storyline. I don't make people lose for no good reason. Trust me. What goes around comes around! Besides, 90% of the time, if you lose a match, you probably got out interviewed! You can make your own success here if you write interviews that will have people standing up & taking notice of you like Malstrom has, like Loki has, like the ruff ryders have, like LB has & like I always have. (I know that there are others that have but i am limited on time right now) I have an incredible background in E-feds guys. I have held 5 world titles & 14 other titles, the world belt being the only one in this fed & I held it but once here. You gotta play your part in making your own success in this business! If you do have a problem with what goes on with your charecter then calmly talk to me about it! You come at me whining & being an idiot about it & I will not pay attention to you about it!

Q. What is with the question marks?

A. As some of you may have noticed, there are often question marks in the written text that don't belong. For some reason in the transfer of e-mails or clarisworks or whatever, some of the commas and quotation marks turn into question marks. I think it might have something to do with the language of the programming or maybe some crazy mac fortunecity bug. You all should be smart enough to understand what is what though.

Q. Hey I liked my match where the cool stuff happened. I want to see it again.

A. That is not a question, but is answerable. The great and powerful eromitlab has a catalogue of the entire EWCeWF transactions, including old RPs and all the old matches. If you want to see an old match, request is as a match of the month. In fact the first guy to do it right now gets the choice, I am ambivalent at the moment.
